Rental Policies
- The person renting must have a valid drivers license or state issued ID, and must use their own credit card with their name on it. NO EXCEPTIONS
- Two forms of ID required for rental contract.
- At time of pick-up/reservation, the rental will be paid in full plus additional security deposit.
- All equipment is started and instructions given at time of rental.
- Customer is responsible for all damages.
- Customer must furnish a qualified operator.
- Customer accepts liability for repair/maintenance expense due to damage and/or abnormal wear to machine and tires.
- Customer must inform immediately of any equipment failure or malfunction. This is for your benefit so we can solve the problem or stop the rental time.- Customer responsible to return machine in the same condition it was taken in.
- All items due in on time specified on contract. Late charges will be charged on all items returned after due in time
- We rent based on time out, not time used. (If a machine is rented for a day and ultimately not used, the customer is still responsible to pay the daily rate)
- In the event of equipment failure or malfunction, no refunds will be issued, rather additional time with equipment will be granted.
Return Policies
- Equipment to be returned during store hours only. NO EXCEPTIONS
- LATE CHARGES:
1 Minute - 60 Minutes Late: 25% of Daily Rate Fee
Over 60 Minutes Late: Additional Day Charge
Rentals returned late when unit is reserved for another customer will be charged at 25% every 15 minutes late, until the rental is returned.
- Equipment is to be returned in the same condition it was taken in. Clean, Full of Fuel, and Undamaged.
- If machine is not returned as stated, additional charges will apply at the discretion of West End Equipment.
Reservation Policies
-To reserve a piece of equipment, the rental must be paid in advance, in full, plus security deposit.
-Once a reservation is made there are no changes or cancellations allowed.
- Reservations can be made over the phone at the discretion of West End Equipment. Customer must have ID and Credit Card on hand at time of reservation.
- Any reservation done over the phone requires the person renting to come down to sign a rental contract. This can be done during pick-up or sometime prior if a different party will be picking up equipment.
- Any reservation incorporating delivery or tent set up cannot be done over the phone. Customer must come do so in person.
Delivery is available for any large machinery that must be trailered to and from job site.
Example: Skid Steer, Mini Excavator, 1 Ton Roller
Delivery charge is $20 per mile at a minimum rate of $100. Distance is to be calculated by the most optimal route from store. (1554 Route 209 Brodheadsville)
Examples: A distance of 8 miles from store would result in a delivery fee of $160. A distance of 2 miles from store would result in a delivery fee of $100.
Any reservation incorporating a delivery cannot be done over the phone and must be done is person.
